"WhoMatch" Business Networking Platform


1. Terms and Definitions

WhoMatch Platform – An online service providing technical infrastructure and software for fostering business networking, enabling users to register, create an account, select a business event, build a profile of business interests, view profiles of recommended users, request bilateral meetings, exchange contacts, and receive information about the program and events of a business event.
Business Event – An event aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, with organizer and contact details published on the Platform in the event description. For questions related to business events, Platform users should contact the event organizer directly using the provided contact information.
Platform Administrator – The holder of copyrights and ownership rights to the WhoMatch Platform, which provides the technical infrastructure and software to users for business networking purposes.
Platform User – An individual who has duly completed the registration process, obtained a user account, and uses the Platform’s technical infrastructure and software for business networking in accordance with these Terms of Use.

2. General Provisions (Subject of the Terms of Use)

2.1. These Terms of Use for the WhoMatch business networking Platform (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern the rules for using the WhoMatch Platform (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”).

2.2. Registration and use of the Platform constitute confirmation of acceptance of these Terms. If an event participant does not agree with the Terms, they cannot register on the Platform.

2.3. The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without any guarantees of results for the user.

2.4. The Platform Administrator reserves the right to amend the Terms at any time, with changes taking effect the day after their publication on the Platform. Users are notified of changes to the Terms upon their first login following the publication of the updated Terms.

2.5. Upon accessing the Platform, the user checks a box to confirm acceptance of the updated Terms. If the user disagrees, they may cease using the Platform and request the deletion of their account.

2.6. In cases of non-compliance with these Terms, the Platform Administrator may, without prior notice or explanation, remove or hide content violating the Terms, restrict the user’s access to the Platform, or temporarily or permanently block their account.

2.7. Legally significant communications from the Platform Administrator to the user may be sent to the email address provided during registration. The user is solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely updating of their email address.

2.8. Users may appeal access restrictions or content removal by contacting the Platform Administrator’s support team.

3. Registration and User Account

3.1. All attendees of business events aged 18 and older may register on the Platform to become users for the purpose of networking at events available on the Platform.

3.2. A user’s account and profile are created, edited, and deleted by the user who owns the account.

3.3. Users may edit and update their profile information at their convenience.

3.4. Account deletion is initiated by the user contacting the Platform Administrator’s support team. Upon deletion, a record of the account’s deletion time is retained on the Platform.

3.5. To register, users must provide the information requested in the registration forms. Registration data must be accurate and must not violate any laws or the rights of other individuals or organizations. Users are responsible for the accuracy of the provided data and must update it promptly in case of changes.

3.6. Users must not share their account credentials (login and password) with third parties.

3.7. Users must implement adequate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized use of the Platform’s services, particularly access by unauthorized individuals.

4. Responsibilities, Rights of the Administrator, and Users

4.1. The account owner is responsible for all actions performed under their account, regardless of who performed them.

4.2. All information and messages on the Platform reflect the personal opinions of users. The Platform Administrator is not responsible for the content of messages, nor for users’ responses or reactions to business networking proposals.

4.3. Users bear full responsibility for published content and any damages resulting from violations or infringements of third-party rights (particularly copyrights).

4.4. Users must indemnify the Platform Administrator against liability for third-party rights violations. The Platform is not obligated or able to evaluate, verify, or investigate user-published content.

4.5. Users guarantee that they own the rights to the content they post or have the necessary permissions. Users retain ownership of their content but grant the Platform Administrator a non-exclusive license to use the content for Platform functionality, including display, storage, copying, and (if necessary) technical processing to ensure the Platform’s operation and promotion. This license remains in effect while the content is hosted on the Platform and may be revoked by removing the content, except for backup copies stored for a limited period.

4.6. Users must demonstrate mutual respect. Content and data published on the Platform must comply with operational, legal, or ethical standards, general codes of conduct, moral norms, and public order.

4.7. Intolerance or discrimination is prohibited.

4.8. The use of obscene language or imagery that insults the honor and dignity of Platform users is prohibited in any part of the Platform, including titles, text, or attachments.

4.9. Posting defamatory messages, personal data of third parties without consent, promotional content without approval, or links to malicious resources is prohibited.

4.10. Posting information that violates the laws of the country hosting the business event is prohibited.

4.11. All transactions, negotiations, and interactions between users are conducted at their own risk.

4.12. The Platform Administrator is not responsible for users or counterparties, nor for the success or failure of business connections or transactions.

4.13. Under no circumstances is the Platform Administrator liable for any losses incurred due to the use of the Platform or its individual parts/functions.

4.14. The Platform Administrator is not responsible for technical failures, delays, errors in third-party services, or similar issues.

4.15. The Platform Administrator is not responsible for the quality of organization of business events for which the Platform facilitates networking opportunities.

4.16. The Platform Administrator is not liable for delays or inability to fulfill obligations due to force majeure events (natural disasters, military actions, telecommunications network failures, governmental actions or inactions, emergencies, provider outages, IP address blocking, etc.).

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. The Platform’s technical infrastructure, software, graphics, images, and other content or solutions may be protected by copyright law. Editing, copying, or publishing any Platform content without the explicit prior written consent of the Platform Administrator is prohibited.

5.2. Users must not take any technical or other actions that infringe the Platform Administrator’s copyrights.

6. Confidentiality and Personal Data

6.1. The Platform and its users agree to maintain data confidentiality in all material respects and will provide reasonable assistance and cooperation as requested by the other party to ensure compliance.

6.2. User data is used by the Platform only to the extent necessary for facilitating business networking in accordance with these Terms.

6.3. Processing of personal data may include collection, recording, systematization, storage, updating, retrieval, use, transfer (provision, access), anonymization, blocking, deletion, or destruction.

6.4. Personal data processing may be conducted with or without automation tools.

6.5. User data availability on the Platform for a specific business event is limited to the duration of the event. Extended data retention is at the discretion of the Platform Administrator if required by law or other contractual obligations.

6.6. Backup copies and personal data are retained for 30 days after account deletion, unless otherwise required by law.

6.7. By completing and saving their Platform profile, users consent to:
  • Making their personal data publicly accessible for informational purposes;
  • Receiving informational and promotional messages from other Platform users for business networking purposes;
  • Receiving informational and promotional messages from the Platform Administrator via email or postal mail, including from organizations with which the Administrator has contractual relationships, to notify users of upcoming business events and networking opportunities.

6.8. Users may unsubscribe from email messages at any time using the unsubscribe link included in each email.

6.9. Consent to postal mailings is valid for five (5) years and may be withdrawn by the user at any time through a written request.

6.10. Under the Platform’s confidentiality terms, business interest-related user data is always visible to other users. Email addresses and phone numbers remain private, and their disclosure to other users is at the sole discretion of the account owner.

6.11. The Platform Administrator and event organizers access user data (excluding passwords) for event management purposes, such as creating participant lists, printing badges, or catalogs, and providing support before and during events. Organizers may also import user data into their CRM systems for reporting or related purposes.

6.12. The Platform Administrator makes commercially reasonable efforts to prevent external abuse or data loss but cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. User Recommendations

7.1. If a user receives a message containing unacceptable or inappropriate content, they should report it to the Platform Administrator. This helps eliminate bad-faith users and fosters a positive networking environment.

8. Dispute Resolution and Applicable Law

8.1. All disputes arising from Platform use must be resolved through negotiation and mandatory pre-litigation procedures.

8.2. All disputes should be addressed to the Platform Administrator’s support team. Claims must be submitted within seven business days of the issue arising.

8.3. Claims are typically reviewed, and a response is provided within seven business days.

8.4. User relationships on the Platform are governed by the local laws of the country hosting the business event for which networking is facilitated.

9. Final Provisions

9.1. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

9.2. These Terms constitute the complete agreement between the parties and supersede any prior arrangements.

9.3. Use of the Platform does not create any partnership, agency, or employment relationships between the Platform Administrator and the user.
